Geochemical (X-Ray Fluorescence) and mineralogical analysis (Powder X-Ray Diffraction, with benchtop diffractometer) of carbonate platform deposits from the Brazilian east margin, to reconstruct the paleoceanographic changes that occurred in the South Atlantic Ocean during the Albian-Turonian, and their link with tectonostratigraphic and climatic events.
