Application of Rock magnetism, Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Magnetostratigraphy ininvestigating terrestrial paleoclimate as well as paleoceanography using paleoweatheringsurfaces/paleosols, marine, river, lake and coastal sediments. Specific focus on paleoenvironment of critical events during geological history e.g. Cretaceous-Paleogene massextinction.
